Scans were completed at AT&T Park on December 16th with Flight Evolved field teams collecting approximately 32 scans of the stadium. The video below gives an overview of the infield scans and feature extraction points of interest. Below are also data files and measurements extracted by our processing teams.

Results

The results listed below were gathered from our analysis of the field. These numbers can be used to corroborate data or as a QAQC tool to ensure that data is consistent.

  • Mound Height: Measurement: .782 ft. Measurements are taken from a ground surface 10ft surrounding the mound to a plane generated at the pitching rubber.

  • Radar – Center Pitching Rubber: Measurement: 226.807 ft Measurements taken from a plane created at the radar panel and measured to the center of the pitching rubber.

  • Home- 1st Base: Measurement: 90.053 ft
    Measurements are taken from the tip of the home base to the bottom outside edge of 1st base.

  • Home- 3rd Base: Measurement: 89.989 ft
    Measurements are taken from the tip of the home base to the bottom outside edge of 3rd base.

  • Home- Pitching Rubber: Measurement: 60.735 ft
    Measurements are taken from the tip of the home base to the center of the pitching rubber.
