Scans were completed at Dodgers Stadium on December 15th with Flight Evolved field teams collecting approximately 29 scans of the stadium. The video to the left gives an overview of the infield scans and feature extraction points of interest. Below are data files and measurements extracted by our processing teams.

Results

The results listed below were gathered from our analysis of the field. These numbers can be used to corroborate data or as a QAQC tool to ensure that data is consistent.

Mound Height: Measurement: .782 ft. Measurements taken from a ground surface 10ft surrounding the mound, to a plane generated at the pitching rubber.

Radar – Center Pitching Rubber: Measurement: 227.020 ft. Measurements taken from a plane created at the radar panel and measured to center of the pitching rubber.

Home – 1 Base: Measurement: 89.940 ft. Measurements taken from the tip of home base to the bottom outside edge of 1st base.

Home – 3 Base: Measurement: 89.980 ft. Measurements taken from the tip of home base to the bottom outside edge of 3rd base.

Home – Pitching Rubber: Measurement: 60.719 ft. Measurements taken from the tip of home base to the center of the pitching rubber.
